Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver was called to evaluate a customer’s crawlspace due to concerns about an unusual smell and possible rodent activity. Our energy consultant Harry was the man for the job!

What We Found-

• Signs of rodent activity on ductwork and vapor barrier
• Droppings in insulation 
• Old insulation falling down throughout crawlspace

Our Solution-

Full crawlspace cleanout, spray foam the subfloor and ductwork.

Results & Satisfaction-

The homeowner was thrilled with the results of the spray foam insulation, and reported the smell was completely gone following the completion of the job. This solution eliminated concern for future rodent problems and provided a permanent fix to the homeowner’s complaints. Additionally, spray foaming the ductwork completely sealed ducts and ensured peace of mind against future air leaks!
