With a strong foundation in building science and years of hands-on industry experience, our team leads the way in diagnosing and solving whole-home performance issues.

Josh Lowe

Owner/Founder
Hometown: Eugene, OR Josh’s background is in construction, from framing houses to finish carpentry to windows. At age 27, Josh founded Lowes Weatherization, which is now Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver. He is American Architectural Manufacturers Association “Window Installation Master” certified, ductless heat pump “Master Installer” certified, and a certified “Lead Renovator.” He has also been thoroughly trained and earned the “Certified Energy Management Consultant” and “Certified Energy Savings Specialist” titles through Dr. Energy Saver’s network. Josh enjoys meeting with homeowners and helping them uncover where their home loses energy, enabling them to get more out of their homes. When not working, Josh’s hobbies include fishing, boating, camping, snowboarding, and family time with his wife and two daughters.

Amy Lowe

Owner/Founder
Amy plays a pivotal role in overseeing the company's financial health. With a sharp eye for detail and a commitment to excellence, she ensures that the business runs smoothly, making strategic financial decisions that drive growth and stability. Beyond her leadership in the company, Amy is a devoted wife to Josh Lowe and a proud mother of two daughters. Her ability to balance family life with business success is a testament to her strong work ethic and dedication. Amy’s passion for providing homeowners with all of our best in class services fuels her commitment to making Josh Lowe's Dr. Energy Saver an industry leader.

Bill

General Manager
General Manager Hometown: Chico, California Bill spent 28 years in the residential and light-commercial heating and air conditioning industry, both in new construction and remodels. During that time, he was an in-home sales representative with Sears Home Improvement, a sales representative for multiple HVAC companies, and an operations manager for multiple years. He also has his Associate’s Degree from Chico State. Bill has been certified by the Building Performance Institute as a Building Envelope Professional and Building Analyst, certified by the EPA for Type 1 & 2 Proper Handling of Refrigerant and has taken Rapport Leadership Training I & II.

Energy Consultants

The energy consultants at Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver provide expert home evaluations focused on identifying the root causes of comfort, energy efficiency, and moisture issues. Serving Eugene, Portland, Salem, and surrounding Oregon areas, our team specializes in whole-home assessments, crawl space inspections, attic evaluations, and indoor air quality solutions.

Erik

Sales Manager
Originally from Alabama, Erik brings a grounded work ethic and natural leadership to his role as Sales Manager at Klaus Roofing Systems. He’s passionate about helping homeowners find the right solutions for insulation and overall home energy performance, guiding his team with both expertise and genuine care. Erik takes pride in making sure every homeowner feels confident in their choices—because comfort, efficiency, and peace of mind should never be a guessing game. Outside of work, you’ll likely find him chasing that rare-but-glorious Pacific Northwest sunshine—hiking scenic trails, spending quality time with his wife and kids, and soaking in everything that makes this corner of the world so special.

Ricky

Energy Consultant
Certified Energy Consultant Hometown: Portland, OR Ricky joins the team as a certified energy consultant who has continued to build his expertise in home services and making customers’ homes more energy efficient and comfortable, while emphasizing cost-effective, customized solutions tailored to each project. Before joining us, Ricky worked as an insurance agent for 10 years, earning his Certified WorkComp Advisor Designation. In that role, he developed skills in clear communication and client support - skills he now applies as he helps customers find the best insulation solutions for attics and crawl spaces. Ricky also has experience running his family’s packaged ice business, which was later acquired by Arctic Glacier, and spent some time working in staffing. When he’s not helping clients improve their homes’ energy efficiency, Ricky enjoys spending time outdoors. He spends his time camping, cycling, playing disc golf, hiking and fishing.

Monte

Energy Consultant
Certified Energy Consultant Hometown: Salem, OR Before joining Dr. Energy Saver, Monte built a diverse career as an Art Dealer, a Life & Disability/Fire & Casualty Financial Advisor, and worked in Residential Construction. He was hired by Josh Lowe's Dr. Energy Saver for his shared dedication to quality, professionalism, and community—values he carries into both his work and personal life. Monte's job, as a Dr. Energy Saver Certified Energy Management Consultant, or “Doctor”, is to thoroughly diagnose where your house uses and loses energy and wastes money. He then communicates this to you and educates you on your energy-saving priorities. Monte creates solutions so you can start saving energy and money right away. Monte has been thoroughly trained and certified by Contractor Nation, and holds a science degree in Applied Science and Fabrication Technology. He has earned the highly esteemed title “CERTIFIED Energy Consultant” through the Dr. Energy Saver Contractor Network. Monte enjoys meeting with homeowners and helping them uncover their home energy losses, enabling them to save money and get more out of their homes.

Brandon

Energy Consultant
Certified Energy Consultant Hometown: Roseburg, OR Brandon applied to work for us because of our track record with customers for having great reviews and a good working environment. Before coming to work for us, Brandon has previous experience in the field at Terrafirma and Ram Jack West. His previous work experiences included cleaning attics and crawlspaces and making sure that the spaces were waterproofed as well. He has worked on residential homes and commercial buildings too. When he’s not at work, Brandon enjoys taking family trips and numerous outdoor activities including camping, wakeboarding, snowboarding, dirt biking and street biking.

Sean

Energy Consultant
Certified Energy Consultant Hometown: Dayton, OH Before joining Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver, Sean was the Sales and Service Manager for an outdoor power equipment company. He also served ten years in the U.S. Army with three combat tours to Iraq. Sean has also worked as a heavy diesel mechanic, small engines technician, a water purification specialist, and a heating specialist. Sean was hired by Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver because he is an honest man with sincere integrity, and that is the type of person that our company wants on our team.

Harry

Energy Consultant
Certified Energy Consultant Hometown: Eugene, OR Before joining Dr. Energy Saver, Harry, a graduate from the University of Oregon, for six years, worked for Sweet Cheeks Winery as a production assistant, and managed the national sales for supplying and distributing the products across multiple states. While at this job he maintained distributor relationships and increased sales. Harry also has four years of in-home sales experience during his time working for Ram Jack West as the sales manager and a sales specialist. Harry was hired by Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver because he is a very dedicated, honest, hard-working individual, that is the type of person that our company wants on our team.

Our production team understands that every home is different. That’s why they follow proven building science principles to improve energy efficiency, indoor air quality, and overall home comfort. Whether it’s sealing a crawl space, upgrading attic insulation, or removing contaminated materials, our crew delivers reliable results that help lower energy bills and protect your home year-round.

Sean

Production Manager
Production Manager Hometown: Eugene, OR Sean had spent the last 10 years dedicated to his job at 9wood as a Production Supervisor in manufacturing. He was managing 8 different departments, with over 30 people and is certified in the following: Forklift, Training Within Industry, and Job Relations. Sean decided to take his leadership skills and love for the industry to Josh Lowe’s Dr. Energy Saver, as the Production Manager. He chose to switch careers with the intention of truly making a difference in people's lives and work for a company that has the same core values as him. When not at work, Sean loves to spend time with his wife and two kids, whether that being going on walks, playing with the kids, or having them support him at his basketball games. Any opportunity he has to spend time with his family or friends, he make sure to attend.

Silas

Production Specialist Hometown: Corvallis, OR Silas joined our team because he wanted to learn more about homes and how they are built and function. He has been a farmer, forklift driver, and a chef. For the past several years he has been a caregiver for a family member when he is not at work taking care of customers and the issues they have with comfort and energy savings of their homes. He is a humble individual with a big heart. He is always friendly and willing to help. When he has some time for himself, he enjoys the outdoors of Oregon. Fishing and camping are his favorite activities for rest, fun and relaxation.

Jaylen

Foreman/Project Lead
Foreman Jaylen brings a positive attitude and a well-rounded work history to our production team. His background spans several industries, giving him practical experience with teamwork, reliability, and problem-solving—qualities that make him a strong fit for our hands-on, collaborative environment. As a former mailman, he learned to stay organized, focused, and dependable while working independently in all kinds of weather. That role helped him build a strong work ethic and attention to detail. Jaylen also spent time working as a shop hand for an electrician, where he became familiar with technical tools, safety practices, and supporting skilled tradespeople. This experience gave him a deeper understanding of how important precision and safety are in any production setting. Growing up around similar work environments, Jaylen naturally understands the value of teamwork, communication, and doing his part to help the team succeed. He’s known for being reliable, flexible, and easy to work with. Whether it’s jumping into a new task or supporting others, Jaylen brings a team-first mindset and a solid grasp of what it takes to get the job done. His background shows he’s comfortable in fast-paced, hands-on roles and ready to learn more. Outside of work, Jaylen enjoys the outdoors, rooting for the Oregon Ducks, and gaming. His hobbies show both an active and focused side—balancing physical activity with strategic thinking. He chose to join our company because of our strong reputation for having a close-knit, fun team environment. Jaylen is excited to contribute, learn, and grow with the team, and he’s ready to bring his dedication and energy to the job every day.

Miguel

Installer
Miguel Toledo recently joined Dr. Energy Saver through a temporary staffing agency and has since been hired as a full-time Production Worker. He chose to stay because he enjoys helping homeowners and making their day a little better. Before joining our team, Miguel worked at King Estate Winery, where he was responsible for ensuring that the grapes were in optimal condition for harvest. He enjoyed his time there and gained valuable experience. He brings a strong work ethic to our team and has learned so much during his time as a temporary employee. Miguel is always willing to learn and accept feedback, which is an amazing trait to have. His positive attitude and dedication to growth make him a valuable member of our team. In his free time, Miguel enjoys cooking with his family. He also likes staying active, whether it's walking his dog, Candela, playing soccer, or going to the gym after work. When it's time to relax, he enjoys playing video games with his friends.

His dedication and reliability help ensure projects run smoothly and efficiently. In Kameron’s free time, he loves spending time with his spouse and their two children, who are 5 years old and 4 months old. They enjoy having movie nights together on Saturdays. Kameron is a devoted husband and father who values family time.

Ricardo

Production Specialist Hometown: Ventura, CA Before joining the Dr. Energy Team Ricardo worked as a shift supervisor for Domino’s Pizza. Ricardo also brings some experience from his other jobs as a gas attendant, has worked at our local Jerry’s Home Improvement Center, and Ferguson Kitchen Bath and Lighting. In his off time, he loves watching football games, going on hikes, and hanging out with his friends and playing video games.

Jesus

Jesus Caudillo recently joined Dr. Energy Saver hoping to expand his skills and continue growing in his career. Before joining the company, Jesus worked in water mitigation, where he specialized in preventing further water damage and restoring areas affected by water-related issues. Jesus has extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in both removing and installing insulation. Through his background in the water mitigation industry, he developed a strong understanding of how insulation, moisture control, and structural integrity all work together to protect a home. His experience includes identifying and removing damaged materials, restoring affected areas, and ensuring homes are properly insulated and protected from future issues. In addition to his mitigation experience, Jesus has worked in insulation and general construction, giving him a well-rounded skill set and a strong attention to detail. His background in construction work has helped him build valuable problem-solving skills, adapt to different jobsite conditions, and consistently deliver quality workmanship. In his free time, Jesus enjoys spending quality time with his wife and son. As a family, they love traveling, exploring new places, and going fishing throughout Oregon. Whether they are out on the water or enjoying the outdoors together, they value creating long-lasting memories and making the most of their time together as a family

Kosmo joined the team with a clear vision: to find a place where he could grow professionally while being part of a strong, supportive community. With hands-on experience in gutter cleaning and installation, along with a background in the restaurant industry, Kosmo brings a diverse skill set and exceptional work ethic to every project. She graduated from the University of Oregon with a degree in Marketing, a concentration in Advertising, and a minor in Sustainable Business. Previously the Marketing Coordinator at Bobcat of Eugene, Breck excels at developing standout campaigns that drive results. When she’s not working on creative campaigns, Breck loves paddleboarding, making mosaic tile art, and enjoying live music. She’s also a proud pet mom to Boots, her playful 2-year-old tabby. Breck’s passion for both her work and her hobbies brings a contagious energy to everything she does.

Customer Account Coordinator

Stacie came to our team to get back to working with a family-owned company. She likes working with a team of employees, and she feels that she has found that here.She gained experience in scheduling while working at an employment staffing agency and as a life coach for DDA, helping those with life needs in Oregon.For fun, she loves to go to the races and watch her son race their dirt track race car (Shafer Family Racing). Her son, only 20, has been racing their car for the past five years.

Marketing

Nina Souther is a Marketing Coordinator originally from Corvallis, Oregon. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Oregon State University, where she focused on sports marketing and developed a strong foundation in brand strategy, audience engagement, and campaign coordination. Nina brings a diverse background to her role. She previously served as a marketing intern with the Eugene Ballet, provided office support for Linn County General Services, and continues to work part-time as a concessionaire at the Hult Center for the Performing Art, where she enjoys being part of the live performance environment. Outside of work, Nina enjoys reading, staying active through workouts, hiking, and going on walks. She values creativity, community involvement, and finding new ways to connect people with meaningful experiences.

Production Scheduler

Courtney applied at Josh Lowe's Dr Energy Saver after she had done some research on the company and thought that it seemed like a good place to work, as well as it seemed like it would be a good fit for her.Before coming to work here, she had worked in customer service jobs for the last six years working at a café, warehouse, and as a sales rep for an advertising company.When not at work, Courtney enjoys spending time adventuring the outdoors, she loves to go on walks, camp, hike, and go mushroom hunting. She also loves playing with her two cats and teaching them new tricks.
