Dr Energy Saver was called to a Eugene home after the homeowner expressed concerns of inadequate heating and cooling, along with a possible minor settlement in the flooring. 

What We Found- 

Our DES Team found evidence of settlement, (due to standing moisture in corners) along with floor penetrations and inadequate insulation affecting the heating and cooling throughout the home.

Our Solution-

Don’t fear, DES is here! We decided the best course of action was to remove the existing vapor barrier and insulation from the crawlspace, and insert a smart pipe, and a remote water watch alarm. We sealed the floor penetrations and wrapped the hot and cold water pipes. 

Results & Satisfaction-

The homeowner was relieved to know his crawlspace was comfortably and effectively insulated, and there would be no more standing moisture concerns affecting the flooring and foundation.
